To be recognised amongst a particular community you had to be of a reliable rank. on that point is upper class, middle class and poor. The second student disagrees; he believes that competition for wealth and possessions is unhealthy and unnatural. The first students opinion was that without competition individuals would lose their motivation and their mother wit towards excelling in life.
